Elephant Card Trio

This elephant card trio features three cards with dramatic African elephants painted in watercolours.

The first watercolour painting is of a magnificent African elephant making its way towards you.

Emerging from the greenery behind, this beauty locks your gaze. His wisdom and never-forgetting presence show whilst he playfully hugs one of his precious tusks with his huge trunk. The experience of this incredible creature is hinted at through its myriad of wrinkles and shear size.

The more you look, the more you see the rainbow of colours making up the elephant’s thick armoured skin, in an artistic interpretation.

The second card is a watercolour painting of a cute baby African elephant stomping its way through on its sturdy legs.

Trumpeting along, this baby elephant calf is happily making its way along, catching the golden sunlight as he goes, with highlights of rich yellows and oranges.

The golden sun reflects on his giant fanned out ears bringing a warm glow to the piece of art. These amazing parts of creation can live in forests or deserts and savannas and grow up to 4 metres in height and 7 tonnes in weight. So this baby will soon move into even larger realms!
