Company identity

Why do I need to develop my brand?

Your brand is much more than your logo design; it is how your company is portrayed and viewed. This includes the concepts, ideas, values and emotions that your company wants to show and communicate with people through images, texts, words, content, user experience, etc. To read more about branding take a look at my branding portfolio.

Your brand is what helps people to identify your company and its services. It provides enormous value to your company, giving you an edge over your competitors; it is foundational to successful growth.

Your brand should ensure consistency, providing a framework that helps everyone associated with your organisation know exactly what it is and what its values and aims are.

This therefore should be reflected in how you communicate including in person, online, throughout your website, in your advertising and promotional material and in your printed material. Every point of contact you have with your clients, customers and partners should reflect your brand well.

What is brand development?

Branding development can start with your name, logo and strapline and extend to (but not exclusively):

  • Your business values and aims
  • Your tone of voice
  • Logo design
  • Logo usage
  • Strapline
  • Brand colours
  • Fonts
  • Style of imagery
  • Stationery designs

I will take you through the branding journey and create branding guidelines for you including all the elements you require to establish the foundations of your brand.
