Here is a selection of illustration based projects I have worked on. They include business illustrations and community illustrations – all which come from my clients’ passions and interests.
Waves in Weston Community Illustrations
Waves in Weston
I had the pleasure of working with “Waves in Weston”, a Sustrans funded project in my local community. Their projects revolve around outdoor & family friendly activities in the local area, all 100% volunteer led. With an aim to help people get active whilst building community, this was a project I became passionate about too!
Community Focus
I was commissioned to update their logo and create a series of illustrations for them. I incorporated the illustrations into designs for a variety of things such as t-shirts, cargo bikes, large banners, tear-drop banners and flyers.
Merchandise Illustrations
Merchandise Illustrations
I was commissioned to create a set of illustrations for various merchandise, starting with t-shirts. The brief was specific about the content and I had free reign to create a style that would be attractive and appeal to a wide range of ages.
Animal Drawings
My client had specific animals and insects that he wanted on the t-shirts however I had free creative reign on the style & design. I drew these characters digitally so they could easily be resized to any size.
Darn It & Stitch Website Illustrations
Personalised Business
Darn It & Stitch is a superb haberdashery in Southampton who needed to refresh and personalise their website. Using good old ink and paper I started drawing individual illustrations to bring their website to life. I then transformed them into digital illustrations and wove them into their website design.
Website Illustrations
The illustrations started with a drawing of the shop front and included mini illustrations throughout. I coupled these with a vibrant colourful website design to communicate the heart of Cathy, the owner.
