The Brazilian sunset card
A Brazilian sunset card featuring an acrylic painting of a sunset in Iparana, Brazil.
A printed greetings card of an incredible sunset painting with deep yellows and oranges. The striking sun filled sky illuminates the palm trees in the foreground and creates an incredible silhouette stretching from the left all the way across to the right. Supporting the trees you can see the dark shadows of the bush below adding a firm foundation from which the painting rises.
I had the pleasure of witnessing this sunset in Iparana, Brazil. It brings two of my favourite parts of creation together: sunsets and palm trees. It was one of the most vivid, incredible sunsets I have had the privilege of witnessing and it will always be imprinted in my mind. I can’t ever beat the real deal!!! However, it was too much to resist painting it, so copying the original Creator and spending some time with my acrylic paints I created this painting. I hope it brings a smile to your face as much as it does mine.
