Hand Painted Earrings – Inspired by carers and those living with Alzheimers and dementia

Meaningful hand painted earrings designed as a symbol of hope, support and encouragement for those living with Alzheimers and their carers and families.

These hand painted earrings started with 3 simple forget-me-not flowers, painted for a friend, symbolising those affected by dementia and that they are not alone; for a Christian the third flower represents Jesus walking with them as well.

As I was painting, I was reflecting on the power of community especially when we are going through tough times. So I started adding more flowers and ended up covering these earrings with them.

Sometimes we need a wearable or visual reminder that there are others going through similar things, and there is support when we need it.

Each pair is hand painted on lightweight wood, making them comfortable to wear all day. They feature hypoallergenic stainless steel earring hooks, with a 925 sterling silver coating. If you prefer gold, I can make some for you with gold hooks – just send me a message.
